When I purchased my Ram, it did not come with a limited slip Differential. Is there anyone who had the limited slip installed post-sale? Not having limited slip is sometimes a PITA because when I take off from a stop on a slippery road or gravel, it's easy to spin the rear tires. I knew the truck didn't have Limited slip when I bought it, but the truck had everything else I wanted. I would imagine it would be very expensive to have this done, especially since I would have to have the Dealer install it so I won't void the warranty.

Piece of cake. Buy lsd of choice ( I'd recommend the Truetrac), have it installed. I would imagine the dealer would charge a small fortune and only install something available from the factory. Personally, I would find a good differential shop and have them do the work. Not sure how it would void your warranty plus there is no way anyone would know unless you told them and/or you blew up your diff and went looking for warranty work.
Or if you have the ability, you can diy in your driveway. Backlash is the only set-up you will need to perform for a carrier change.
