I bought a set of AUTOSAVER88 running boards for my 2026 Big Horn 1500 and installed them over the weekend. I don't really need them to get in and out, but am worried about premature wear on my driver seat; scooting on and off with my full weight on my butt.
They're more of a universal-fit than I was expecting but went on easily enough. They flex a bit when stepping on them, but seem sturdy enough (except for the extreme rear portions - I don't dare put my full weight there). If they start to bend down or something, I'll weld some gussets onto the brackets and re-paint them. I doubt these will last more than a season without corroding. We'll see...
I plan to add some clear peel n' stick paint protection film to the rocker panels to prevent gouging and scratching from using the running boards.
