Just had the AMP research PowerSteps installed on the Rebel at 4WheelParts. I didn’t see any of these measurements anywhere else, so here they are! All stock so far.

Step Up Height from Ground
Entry/Exit: 6-3/4”
Normal: 10”
Off-road: 11”

Distance from step to floorboard: 15”

Some thoughts:
Unless you’re going BIG (over 37” rubber), no need for the XL steps. 3” lower would basically be on the ground for the factory truck.
Want to wash the truck? Just stand on the step and close the door. They stay deployed. Threw a cinderblock underneath... they hit and just kinda stop. It’s cool to have the button, but Not really necessary.

Anyway, hope some of the dimensions help. Pics are stowed, E/E, N, O/R

Updated: installed the switch ($35) in the blank spot where the trailer brake would be. Ripping out the 12” screen is nerve racking.

Did you get this noise worked out? I’m considering the Amp boards, but have read that the fitment on the Ram 1500 is not perfect. Any thoughts?

I never had any noise or issues. Work perfectly. Not sure if MBORO actually had problems or just read about them on the internets.

They "bang" when going full down and full up. Believe it is more the inner metal panel on truck where they bolt up. I gave up and accepted it as "Normal" My truck was in the video

I have the oem power boards and they sound just like yours. I too assume this to be “normal”

Your truck looks awesome. I just ordered my steps. I want to do an install with the switch as well. Is there a guide somewhere on pulling out the 12" uconnect?

Thanks man: this is the guide I used. Make sure to say the prayer! Search “How to Remove 12" Screen - Fixed Brake Controller” posted by Edwards

Zero mods based on suspension. They sit tight under your rockers. I do think they would be pretty close to touching the ground when extended on a factory height truck in entry/exit.

I had the same steps on my 23 rebel gt and they stopped working a week after I got them. I called AMP and talked to them about what happened. They told me at this time we do not make a set for the 23 ram rebel cuss of the new electronics. And have not been able to get there hands on one for testing. So I returned the steps. Hope your good.
