I got a good deal on a new truck, so I went for it. But, a couple years ago I compression - fractured a couple vertebrae. So a low back heater was really desired. I bought the Dorman universal kit. It comes w/a heating pad for your back and bum. I only wanted the low back heater.

I will add photos in case anyone is interested. I will also add a link to a video of an installation video I found on YouTube that made me decide to go for it.

Funny, installing this low back heater made my back really sore. Hu hu hu.

It works great. Takes a couple minutes longer to warm up than a factory unit. But it gets hot enough for you to want to go to the lower setting.

I will add wiring info/photos soon. I need to clean it up.

And a special thanx to Richard320 for answering all my electrical questions.

Here is the video I watched before I did it.

FYI, my first time working with ”hog-ties.” They are annoying.
