I have a rattle coming from the screen of my infotainment. It happens when I play music at low volumes, when I hit bumps on the road, and when I am tapping things on the screen.

I have taken my 23’ Longhorn 1500 to the dealership twice and the 1st time they said they couldn’t replicate the sound. The 2nd time they said sometimes things are just going to rattle.

I thought it was the plastic surrounding the screen but when I hold the plastic while either driving or playing music or tapping on the screen it still rattles. It is the actual screen itself that rattles.

Has anyone had this issue and know of a fix to the problem. If so please please let me know, this is so annoying to listen to all day.

My '25 Laramie sounds like the screen is rattling but seems to be temperature related and when I hit certain size bumps. I have pressed all around the screen and can't find anything, but yesterday evening just before I got home I opened the console and held the lock box lid, and it seemed like it stopped the rattle. I will check this more closely in the next week or two, but thought I would mention it because it sounds for all the world like it is coming from the screen.

I found the issue I was having. I took out the entire screen and plastic housings. I searched forever trying to find the issue by tapping the screen because that is how I could hear the rattle more pronounced other than just bumps and bass from the speakers. When I tilt the screen forward the rattle would go away, but when I tilted it back it was still there. I ended up just unscrewing anything I could find and trying to get deeper to find the rattle. Eventually I took off the plastic that is holding the back side of the screen and started tightening bolts because I took apart everything I could. There was ONE loose bolt that needed a half turn and it fixed the problem 100%. Very frustrating but I at least know why it was happening now though.
