IHC Drop Kit

I have a 2021 Ram 1500 single cab classic and i had bought a 4/6 lowering kit from ihc. Realizing on the instructions that it won’t fit on the classic models. does anyone know if it can still be installed and or if custom modified. any info would help thanks

If the kit uses drop spindles, you will have to transfer the hubs over as the classics have a 5-bolt lug pattern and 5th gens use 6-bolt lug pattern. But for the most part the suspensions are the same

I believe the kit isn’t ran with drop spindles but with control arms and springs for the 4/6 drop i have

Dont quote me on this 100% but if I remember correctly the DS has a conventional shock/spring vs the strut/spring arrangement on the DT.

You aren't going to be able to make that fit. Id try and return it or sell it and buy the correct kit.

thanks for the clarification. i returned the kit this morning. i talked to an associate on the phone and was told the 09-18 4/6 drop would fit just not 19-21 4/6 kit

Correct. Because your truck is basically a 2018 4th gen. Not a 5th gen.
