i got a 3 inch lift kit installed on my 1500 and was wondering what is the ideal numbers i want for best drivability when getting it aligned at the shop??

Using the Rebel specs will eliminate the possiblity of a shimmy.

how would i know if the vibration is coming from the tires or lift kit though?
You could put the stock tires back on, but I haven't worked on a lifted truck with a vibration in a long time. That will take the tires out of the equation though. I was skeptical of using the Rebel numbers at first also, but the guy we hired recently that did my alignment a few days ago has been doing only lifted vehicles for 19 years and his knowledge is staggering. He's the guy dealers used when they had trouble vehicles, so I trust him and have no vibrations and can't feel my Open Country's at all when they warm up.

My posts lately have been inciting a lot of debate, so I'll caveat that with this: I'm just some random guy on the internet that's giving free advice and everyone's free to do what makes them happy.
