2025 Ram 1500 that when it sits overnight in temperatures below 30 degrees the heat/defroster blower will not activate until after approximately 10 minutes of driving. I make sure to take the system off automatic, activate fan control at highest setting, I try the front windshield defroster, all vent combinations, and also try with system in recirculate mode and not. After 8-10 minutes of driving the fan kicks on by itself. On warmer nights it kicks on with the starting of the vehicle. Doesn't matter if I try to pre-warm the truck. I've had it running for 15 minutes and then drove it - same thing. Dealer stated that they couldn't find any issues in the system until I had one of the service reps come out to the truck right after I started it after it had sat overnight and saw the problem. They are researching the issue. Anyone else seeing anything similiar?

Haven't seen the issue but have you tried a soft reset?
  • Park outside, unlock vehicle, open hood, using a 10mm wrench remove the negative wire from terminal of the battery
  • Leave disconnected for 30 minutes
  • Reconnect the wire and leave truck alone for an hour. Don't open the door, NOTHING.
  • After the hour all your systems will have reinitialized. See if any joy.

Thanks for the suggestion. I took it back to the dealer, AGAIN. They were able to recreate the problem. They actually did a reset of all systems and stated the problem was still present. They replaced the blower motor and another component and advised the problem was resolved. First cold morning it's back again. Windshield completely iced with no ability to turn on front defroster or push any heat.
