This is going to be short and sweet. It is common knowledge that search functions baked into most forums don’t work well. I won’t get into the why’s of that at this point, but it’s unavoidable without making a custom search function. The value is not worth the effort when google has invested millions into their search functions.
A good way to search this forum if the built-in search doesn’t yield what you expect is by doing an advanced google search. It can be done by combining the search terms with site filtering, as seen below:
