Hi there, My 2020 Rebel with 5K miles has developed a rattle in the dash. I have narrowed it down to the area behind or on top of the gear selector area. I could not find any online information on how to access this area. Any experts here to advise if it is possible to get back there without removing a ton of the dash?? Thanks in advance!

Hey man. I literally fixed the same type of rattle yesterday. I have a 2020 Rebel as well. I had removed the head unit already, just in the process of hunting down the rattle. The rattle for me was the screw I’m pointing at in the picture. It was not tight, and rattling around in it’s hole. It was OBNOXIOUS sounding. The panels in that area are just secured with clips. My picture might help you visualize that as well.

Awesome! thanks, yes that helps a lot!! So from what I see the panels just pull forward and you just have to overpower the clips which I am guessing are all the rectangular holes. The module just stays put?

My 2020 Limited makes a noise in that same area, but only once in a while.
So they're all 2020 model year with this noise?
My build date was 7/2020.

Yes. The module is what’s actually screwed in. Everything else is clipped in. Obviously I can’t guarantee that you have the same screw loose, but it seems awful interesting.

I have the exact same issue that just started...and a drivers seat ticking noise that is driving me bananas. Good to know.
