How do you get the PenFed rebate?

I’m a PenFed member, but how does one actually go about getting the rebate? Do we need to finance with them? If so, I assume we lose the FCA finance rebate?

I just did this last week. No, you do not need to finance with penfed. I financed with Chrysler for the extra rebate (however, I will soon refinance it with penfed, as their rates can't be beat.)

You go through "true car" via the penfed site. You will need to log in. It will create a unique code for you. You give that code to the dealer when you pay, and it will give you an extra $1000 that non penfed members don't get

As an FYI to those looking for great rates, Pentagon Federal is hard to beat. You have to be military, OR join one of their partners to become eligible. I became a member 15 years ago by paying a one time small fee to join one of the alliance groups - I don't even remember which one. Both new car and refinance loan rates currently start at 2.99%. I'm paying 3.7% via Chrysler - but not for long
