About 5 times in 2 weeks multiple warnings in dash center pass by one is something about trailer brakes. after a few starts the lights go away and check engine light stays for a day.
I am then left with fault lights, traction control , FCW front and maybe rear, cruse control,
stopped by dealer after first event lights had gone away. Told to bring it back when it happens and do not turn off. it happened again pulled into the dealer they refused to look at it (great).
Went to auto zone and got the attached code.
The next morning at 7am left the truck on wed morning. at the end of the day on Friday all I got was not going to be today.
Took the truck back made appointment at another dealer for Wednesday I got the information couldn't repeat problem.
they called ram was told to close the case out and return the truck.
My concern is the truck safe to drive? I would like to connect my trailer and take a trip. I don't want to get away from home and have it light up and stay on an not have any trailer brakes.
BTW have not had a trailer connected when problem occurred.
Now it sets they wont look at it and I'm afraid to drive it.20210131_101918_002.jpg20210131_101924.jpg20210202_113358.jpg20210203_070339.jpg20210209_150159.jpg

That's an ABS code for the module. The dealer service center should be able to see that whether its displaying the error or not

I believe all the items that light up are not functioning at that time I do get a warning regarding trailer brakes I don't want to pull the trailer until this is resolved. No one will tell me it is safe to drive or tow trailer. Wow

Have your phone record video every time you're driving. The next time it does it, make sure and capture the lights and all. Show this video to the dealership.
If the truck is under warranty still, I'm not sure how they can ignore this evidence. You may need to find another dealer (from your description above, it sounds like you may have already consulted two different ones).

If it has the issue again, the code should be stored again, regardless if the $tealership cleared the code before. P1C4E, as BowDown commented, simply means there is an error code stored in the ABS module. To read error codes in the ABS module, you need a more advanced diagnostic tool, one that Autozone or others probably won't be using from behind the counter. However, the dealership will have that.

spring of 2020 they also had to change out a main wiring harness and how would you ever know if it is related to that?
something about window washer fluid leaking into the harness and corroding it.

Finally it happened again left engine on and went to dealer they ordered a ABS module and brake position switch. the code is brake position sensor -circuit short to ground. Since its intermittent even if this does it it may take awhile to know.

Hopefully that’s it and issue will be resolved.
