Hi guys

I’ve read a few posts on this and am confused. I just purchased a 2022 1500 Big Horn. It did not come with fender flares from factory but I would like to add some. I’ve seen some info in here, and heard from dealer, that if I didn’t haven them factory installed, you need to drill/mod the bumper to get the OE versions to fit. I was looking at the install directions for Mopar 82215284AB and those SEEM like no mods are needed as it just use the screws that are sitting in my wheel wells now, but now I’m not so sure lol.

Anyway , for someone in my position, is there an after market bolt on that is good quality and doesn’t require any mods to my truck. I’d rather not get into drilling new holes.

Thx for any help.

I believe that is correct, any of the accessory Mopar flares are designed to fit without any modification. It's the original factory flares you can't use unless you already have the factory cuts on the fenders, and they are extensive. Seems like a lot of holes to just install small fender flares.

Anyways, definitely go the accessory Mopar route or the link above with your truck.

Thx guys. Ok sounds like the mopar are no drill are way to go. Maybe I misinterpreted the drilling thing and didn’t realize it was just for the straight up OE stock flares.

The Mopar flairs are drill. The ones I linked to are no drill.

I went with the Bushwacker's. No drilling or modifications. I had to go with the wider version to cover bigger wheels.

You can get them painted or black. I left mine black.
