I recently had my truck in due to an abnormal screeching noise I was hearing on and off and it turns out I need some new bearings in my MGU that will be covered under the 8/80 emissions warranty.

Unrelated to the bearings issue, it was found that my exhaust gaskets on each side are broken and leaking.

I know this is a common problem with these trucks. Does anyone have the part number(s) for the exhaust gaskets and hardware on each side? Is this something that should be covered under my Mopar MaxCare extended warranty? The dealership is saying it’s not covered.

Peep this inspection video of my truck from last week. Skip to 1:39 in this video.

The manifolds are fine, it’s just the gaskets on each side that are broken and leaking.

Two different RAM dealerships in my area are quoting me $2048 and $1162. Seems expensive and a little drastic in price difference for the same work.

Let me know your thoughts! TIA

EDIT: Looks like some of you may not be able to open the link. I added images in the comments for both left and right sides. Ignore the subtitles, both are broken.

If the heat-shields can be moved, then the studs are broken. Had that happen on my passenger side, what a pain in the butt to remove.
Even 1100 bucks seems high...
