Help please.

Was installing the passive entry and when pulling out the door connector I broke a wire, looks to be purple and white. Can anyone please tell me how to fix and what that wire is for?

It is a 19 ram 2500 big horn

Solder it with heat shrink and you're back in business.

No idea what the wire is for, but along the lines of what MannyN wrote, you could try something like https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07S62KYSL remove a little bit of the plastic around the broken ends with a wire stripper, put the wires into each end of the wire connector, and use a head gun (a lighter might work?) to melt the solder and shrink the plastic around the wires.
