Need some help here. I purchased a 2019 ram big horn 3 months ago with 7,600 mikes on it. Since day one I have had the two same issues that dealer can’t figure out.

Issue with driver side microphone. People on the other end of call are telling me they I sound very far away. It’s so bad that everyone is telling me to take them off speaker. Dealer has replaced the radio, microphone and headliner. Still have same problem

When driving on highway 60-80 mph there is a high gust of wind sound coming through passenger side dash. Dealer replaced actuator and it’s still doing it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

For the Bluetooth mic issue, have you tried using a different phone to see if the issue is still there? Or having someone else call you from the truck with their phone so you can hear the issue?

For issue #2, have you replace cabin air filter? If the HVAC running when it is doing it? Does the fan speed for HVAC make a difference?

This may be stupid, but are you sure you are in hands free mode and not on just bluetooth, but using the phone in speaker?

I've done it and sometime the truck does it without prompting to go to handsfree even though its connected. especially after an update in 2020 sometime.

There was also a bug in the bluetooth stack for some android phones, and going into developer setting and changing the version back and forth also fixed a weird thing like that, forget exactly what it was. Bluetooth AVRCP version. I'm running to a dr appt. will look it up later.
