Truck is paid off, wife wants a twin-turbo v8 suv, I want a no car payment. Told her I would make some upgrades to the truck. I have a few questions since I have been off the forum for so long.

2020 Ram 1500 Longhorn E-Torque

1. AC Hack - I avoided the TSB because I didn't want dash ripped out. I see there is a hack valve on Amazon, does this work well? Anyone run a controller instead of hand valve?
2. Taser DT - Reading this on here is really hit or miss. Like the auto-brake hold, auto fold-in mirrors, get rid of stop/start, and turn signal reverse camera.... how is everyone's experience with these features?
3. Pedal Commander (or like) - I know it doesn't increase power, but is it worth it?, does it make it feel peppier? I have the 3.92s for reference, if it matters.
4. Wireless CarPlay - found a few kits here and Amazon. Any that run full screen on the older 12"?
5. Engine Tune - worth it all? Do this instead of pedal commander?
6. Exhaust - anyone run the valved exhaust? I see the Flowmaster sells a valved muffler. Don't need much, but would be nice to add some noise, when it is wanted, and keep it oem when not needed.

Any other worthwhile upgrades to bring the truck up to date?

I’m a fan of throttle controllers. They do make the Hemi more peppy as it reduces the lag significantly, depending on the setting of the controller.

One upgrade I love is a Hellwig rear sway bar. It takes the floaty feeling away on curves which makes the truck more fun to drive IMO. I paired that with a firmer front lifted struts so the lean and sway are drastically reduced which again, makes taking curves more fun. The Hellwig really plants the rear end nicely.

1. I dunno
2. I dunno
3. PC works great and makes the truck better to drive because I hate lag!!!
4. I use the Carlinkit 5.0 and seems to work. Occasionally it will disconnect
5. Edge Pulsar Plug n Play and tune on the fly, plus shuts off MDS
6. Do a muffler swap, but I picked up a new Carven Catback for $500

1. I use a Harbor Freight tube clamp. Tighten it up when I don't need heat, loosen it when I do.
2. Haven't used.
3. I love my PC. Typically keep it on Eco because I drive my truck 99% of the time, but when you put it in Sport it really cuts the lag out. Just don't adjust anything if the truck is in Drive or your foot is on the brake/gas. You'll get codes and potential throttle mishaps.
4. I use AA Wireless, but same thing. They don't care about the screen, more so about what version of Android/iOS is on your device.
5. Tune won't do much if you don't add components like headers and such.
6. I have a QTP exhaust cutout before my muffler. Love the noise, but I cut my pipe a bit too short and it leaks (audible) and rattles. Switch in the cab to open/close it. MDS changes the exhaust sound significantly and it can be annoying/drone. I will probably move to a fairly tame muffler this summer because I'm tired of the rattling. Welding instead of clamping would fix these issues.
