Here's the summary of what I have and am trying to accomplish.

2019 5th Gen 1500.

I have replaced the 8.4 uconnect head unit with a 12" Tesla style Android unit from Autotecpro.

I also purchased a 4 way video switcher and 4 cameras.

Everything is wired, including the cameras. Front camera, left side, right side and rear. The left and right are tapped to the turn signals. The front and rear do not have triggers hooked up. I figure front would be for rare tight parking situations and I can manually select the camera. The rear would also be used just for trailering. That camera would be on the trailer and connected when I'm hooked up.

I plan to put the OEM camera on the rear feed of the 4 way splitter. So basically the rear and side cameras will be the only ones that get triggered.

Reverse is easy. The problem I am having is getting the turn signal side cameras to automatically display on the head unit when the turn signal is on. This makes sense because the vehicle is only designed to auto display the rear camera feed when in reverse. I can get the system to do what I want, but only when I have the camera app open. I can duplicate the result on the aux video feed app as well. The aux feed will be for the trailering camera.

What I want to do is identify the wire that sends the reverse signal feed to the head unit from the factory harness. From there, I should be able to tap that wire with one way 12v diodes and trick the head unit into thinking the vehicle is in reverse when I hit the turn signal, and consequently the video display will automatically show the feed from the splitter, which of course is feeding whichever camera is triggered. The diode will prevent back feeding the other two triggers.

Does anyone know which wire is the reverse signal wire that goes into the head unit harness?

You could check out Alldatadiy for wiring diagrams. Pretty sure those control signals are on either the LIN or CAN bus.
