Help!!! 2020 Ram 1500 New Body Help with aftermarket Remote Start

Hi all,

I attempted to put in an aftermarket remote start (Start X) and now my truck won’t read either key and won’t start. The truck came new with a pursuit aftermarket alarm which I hated and so I in unplugged and evey worked fine. I went to hook up remote start and got all the wires from the harness connected and started the programming process and it seemed it wasn’t working properly and so I disconnected and now nothing. I had a locksmith come out to reprogram keys but he couldn’t get his module to read my computer. I disconnected both terminals of the battery for a couple of hours thinking it would reset everything but no such luck. If I keep the battery connected it shows in the middle of the spedo info center a pic of the push to start button telling me to push to start but nothing works. i decided to try and go back to stock and unplug the remote start and leave battery disconnected for a few hours and still the same issue. It seems I fried my computer or somethin. Anyone have any suggestions Before sending to the dealer?

Yes and nothing

I'd bet you messed something up with the install and shorted something out, or got some wires crossed somewhere and not connectors properly.
