On my 2018 Ram 1500 Eco Diesel, I am experiencing a RATTLING THUD -LIKE sound coming from the front drivers side that seems to be resonating up the steering wheel. This occurs when driving over bumpy roads or over railroad tracks. Does anyone know what is going on there because it is something that when taken to the shop, the reply is "we can't duplicate the problem".

"can't duplicate" is frustrating, try and get them in the truck with you and show them yourself.

Too many possible causes for something like that on a 5 or 6 year old truck. You didn't indicate condition, mileage, or even trim level of your truck. Do you have air suspension or steel springs? 2WD or 4x4? Off the top of my head, some possible causes might be control arm, bushing, or ball joint related, shock related, loose wheel, wheel bearing, worn axle. Not enough information provided. Also, you should be aware that your truck is a 4th gen. This forum is specific to 5th gen 1500's. You might also want to post your question, with additional information, in a 4th gen specific forum.
