Heater control on Limited

So when I select the setting circled in the picture within a few minutes it automatically switches down one button and then a few minutes later it switches automatically to the very bottom. Why won't my setting hold its position?

Are you using auto climate control? Maybe that's it. All I can think of unless it's just malfunctioning.
