Looking for any and all advice here. My new to me 2023 Ram 1500 with the 12" Uconnect won't turn on the heated/vented seats or the heated steering wheel. The dealer is booking 3 weeks out for service and I'm going on a trip before then so I'd like to try to solve this myself. When I go to turn any of them on, the display just says "Heated Seat Off" or "Ventilated Seat Off" etc and I can't cycle through any of the levels of heat/ventilation.

Things I have checked:

- All under seat wiring/harnesses are seated and connected.
- All fuses are good
- Disconnected battery for half an hour and reconnected
- Rear seat heat/vents work

Is there anything else I can do to try to solve this?

TIA!!

Finally took it into the dealership. Turns out that there was a pinched wire in one of the looms that happened most likely when they replaced the engine prior to me buying the truck. I didn't know that the engine had been replaced, didn't show up in the carfax. The dealer I took it to told me they could see it in their records. Not sure how I feel about that. The good news is, it's a brand new engine with warranty, bad news is, that will most likely affect my resale when it comes time.

I wouldn’t give it a second thought.
My rear end was just rebuilt due to a “casting tolerance” at 16K miles… i realize, engine/rear end, not the same ball park…

But I wouldn’t give it a second thought.
Frankly… I’d be more concerned with the state of the used car market when it comes time to sell it. Vs. a new motor installed by a dealer.. market fluctuations are a bigger mark than a replaced engine :)
