New here with my '21 1500 Classic Tradesman. Has anyone come across an issue with the steering wheel heater switching off after a couple of seconds?
Strange though, the heat stays on much longer when I use remote start which automatically turns the heated driver seat and wheel on. Outside temp usually -15C or colder.
Thanks from Winnipeg.

No, but my 25 doesn’t get as warm as my 19 did. I have noticed that both trucks don’t heat at full power the entire time though. Once they get “hot”, they seem to change to “warm”. They don’t stay as hot as they get during the first few minutes. This seems to be by design.

The heated seats are different. They get hot and stay hot.

Thanks for the info. Yes. The seats are no issue. The steering wheel heater has a mind of its own and works longest when using remote start. If I get in the truck and start normally the steering wheel heat doesn't come on and if I press the switch it cuts out in a couple of seconds.
