Heads up display & Carplay navigation

Hi RAMers,

having 2021 Limited and wondering if its possible to see carplay navigation infos in heads up display? It seems like it works for bultin navigation only. I am in Europe and dont have EU maps available, but using Google/Apple maps in carplay.

Simple answer at the moment is No.

Ok thanks. How the speed limit works in heads up? It seems to me there is no sign recognition, but it gets the speed limit info from the internal navigation.

Correct. the speed limit is acquired from the built-in mapping database. At least on the current-gen head units. UC5 may be different. Not sure.
