So I've searched and seen a few threads, and most of them say you must remove the windshield, otherwise the headliner gets creased.

My question is, has anyone done it without removing the windshield? I saw a video of someone that did a starlight, and seems like he got it out with the seats folded down but the video didn't show. I have the terrible black/tan/grey combo in the Biggorns

I've finally collected most of my gear for my audio install, and have to remove the pillar trim to add speaker pods anyways, so I will he replacing the tan with black. And I've always been a "while we're at it" kind of guy, so I'm thinking about trying to pull the headliner and have it reupholhostered, as it's pretty badly stained from the window leak anyways

The reason they say that is because that's the best way to get the headliner out of the truck. Removing the seats and center console is the a way to do it too, but you risk messing up the headliner while trying to maneuver it out.

I had my headliner redone in dark navy and they didn’t have to remove a seat or the windshield to do it.
