So I hit a deer on 1/12. The body shop ordered replacement headlights on 1/15. As of today, the local dealer called the body shop doing the repair and was given an estimated ship date of 3/11. This is also the 4th different date they have received. Is anybody else experiencing this?

At least you got a date! I hit a deer on December 21st and am still waiting. They ended up putting the broken one back in for the time being (rental was up). The headlight itself had no damage but the assembly in the back had some cracks. There has been an outstanding issue with the LED headlights and condensation. So my repair shop was told warranty comes before replacement.
Well the estimated ship date of 3/11 has come and gone. New ship date... 3/25!! So not only am I still paying my truck payment, I'm also paying for a rental car at $250/week, all because this stupid headlight is on backorder? I highly doubt this "backorder" is affecting the assembly line, so how can it possibly be taking 2.5 months to get a darn headlight??
Is there something similar to lemon law that after so long, they must buy the truck back? My insurance covered the first 30 days of rental reimbursement, but I'm looking at least 6 weeks of a rental car. And keep in mind, this is the 5th or 6th different date that FCA has given me, so there's no guarantee it'll be in on 3/25 either.
Had to vent... this is beyond frustrating.
