Hello everyone,

I bought a used 1500 limited but it’s from the Canadian market and so the headlight switch is different than the US one. Basically there’s no off position on the switch, it’s just headlights, brights and auto. Would I be able to go replace it with an OEM US version, one that has an off position? Basically I don’t want my headlights to be running 24/7, I believe there’s a law in Canada that requires that hence why there’s no off position

Pretty sure the daytime running lights need to be disabled in the BCM also, either with a J-scan or ALFA-OBD.
There has been several thread about that here, might try a search on the subject.
