Hi,

can anybody tell me what does the fault sense wire does?
I have a turn signal error with my driver side headlight. If i change headlight the error is still there. If i test the "broken" headlight on the passenger side everything works.
It must be a failure in my truck, not in the headlight.
Where is this wire going to and what signal is in there?

What year truck do you have? I am also a little confused, since I never had this error. If it is a turn signal why are you checking the headlight. Should it not be a turn signal bulb instead of a headlight? I would get a Hayes Manual if you don't have one and see if the electrical schematic leads to which pin and connector it might be. Pardon my ignorence if I am not understanding how the message center works.

DUH My apologies I didn't realize you were in Europe hence German Limited:ROFLMAO:

The headlight is a complete assembly and does not have "Bulbs" in them. They are all circuit bords and controlled by the BCM.

I see now after looking the lights up. So, if one of those LED boards go bad you need to replace the whole headlight assembly. Or are the boards replaceable separately? Cause I just looked at the build sheet on my 2020 1500 Bighorn/Longhorn, and I have Premium light group with LED fogs, LED reflector Headlamps and LED Tail lamps. I be in a bind if I had to replace a headlamp assembly. Seeing the price for one of these units. I bought the truck from a friend, and it only has 12,700 miles. Still those prices are ridiculous.

It's like the electrician who talked me into putting Sconce LED lights on my house. Not even 2 yrs old and one light board went bad. Now I must replace the whole assembly. I am pissed to say the least. This technology is great till something screws up. Then it cost a fortune. Halogens and HID worked fine for years and they were cheap to replace. We are getting raped IMHO.

AlldataDIY is not available here. I am sad about it.
It is a 2019 Limited
Does anybody know Something about this fault Sense Line?

That is too bad, it has very useful information.
This for 2019 rebel. Not sure what the signal is on the line, DC or data. I would compare to the good side.

Yes, replace the entire $$$ light assembly.

Thank you so much.
What colour is TAN/BRN
I am sorry, but to stupid to read These diagrams...
What connector is that on the Control Module?

The color is tan with a brown stripe. In deutsch...Beige mit einem braunen streifen. The connector is C6 pin 25 on the BCM.

Halogens and HID both had their own issues. Lower light output from halogens, shorter bulbs life(generally speaking). HIDs had issues with flickering, ballasts going out, and heat.

I agree each had its own problem, but the vehicles I had Halogen on seemed to be ok. I only had one vehicle a Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer package that seemed to have the right light blow twice. I had the Truck for 6 yrs. Drove it between Chicago and Texas about 6 times a year. I was with the guy I bought the Ram from today. I was telling him about how expensive it would be to replace the lghts. He said it isnt like LED boards in home setups. It's not the little square elements that go bad in house LEDs but the transformers or converters. He said listen at your age they will outlast you in the truck. Just dont get into a accident and damage the lights.
