While at work yesterday, word came down we had to move our vehicles so the parking lot could have some dust abatement done. Put my hand on the handle and a horn honked twice (must have been the Tundra parked next to me). Get in, step on the brake to start the truck and the honk is longer. "Sucks to be the Tundra owner," I thought. Moved my truck, and applied the brake to park. Long horn blast. "What the hell," I thought, "that's from my truck." Turned off the truck. Let it sit for a few minutes, thinking some setting in the uConnect system got screwed up. Press the brake--horn blast included--and start the truck again. Crap. Time to access the uConnect settings and see if there's anything in there. Nope. Well, let's reset it. Step on the brake after the reset--horn blast.
Wait a second. That horn blast is coming from the rear of the truck. What the heck? Look under the bumper, nothing looks amiss.
After watching me struggle for about 15 minutes (and searching here on the forums for any help), my coworker comes up to me laughing hysterically. He crawled under the truck, unhooked the horn he had wired into my trailer connector, and reconnected the trailer connector.
He got me. I'm posting this in case someone else becomes a victim of this prank.
