Got the new wheels in. Was set on Terra G@'s until more possibly too much research. It seems some think they are poor in wet conditions.
Was looking then to Toyo AT3's. They may adversely affect ride quality and very heavy.
Looking again at Ridge grapplers in the 116Q.
The size I would like are 305/55/r20

Any opinions please..

Thanks

I had G2's before. I agree that they are very poor, almost dangerous, on wet roads. My only other experience was with Falken Wildpeak AT3/W; they were amazing on my 3rd Gen Ram...good on dry, wet, handling, and snow.

I have the AT3s and they are a good tire. I am getting the MT baja ATX p3 because they have 3ply sidewalls which make them more stable. Both have great tread designs.

I’ve got 285/60/20 Ridge Grapplers on my truck. They fill up the wheel wells and I like them. Increased road noise was not very noticeable and I think they ride better than the stock tires. My truck is not leveled or lifted and there is a slight rub on full lock turns, like when you’re backing out of a tight parking space. This can be remedied by trimming the plastic wheel liners Up front but I haven’t bothered to do it.

are you getting the tires for looks or for use in adverse conditions (offroad, snow, etc.) i had a set of Nokian AT's on my 14 Ram and they were awesome in the snow. i will likely look at buying them again when the tires on my 19 need to be replaced.

Thanks for responses...
I just got the mopar 2" lift. So 285/60/20 Might not have an issue. I am looking for a tire good in wet weather safe in snow and also I have a double jet ski trailer that i drop off a ramp. It gets kinda rough late in season or after a bad storm, bay water with lots of shells and small rocks. Don't want to ruin the great ride I have now.

I run 285/65/20 BFG KO2’s in all conditions and have been very happy with performance. This is my third set on three different vehicles...from WA state living in the mountains.
