Has anyonenremoved the center dash grille??

I can't for the life of my get this grille off. Is there a trick to it or am I not manhandling it enough? Tried prying upwards with a plastic pry tool but it's just flexing a crap load

These vehicles are designed for quick assembly at the factory, so my guess is that it snaps into place, but I've never replaced the speaker or light sensor that lives there so can't say for sure.

I spent an hour trying to get it up. Wow. 3 different trim tools. I didnt think it would be that stuck. Thank you.

Fresh retainer clips can hold on very well. It is scary pulling up on them when you aren't 100% sure you didn't miss a screw somewhere. Those speaker grills are always held in with retainer clips and if there are some screws they are under the grill and have no effect on the trim piece.

Yes it takes some force but pops right up.
