Has anyone put a cam in a 5.7 ram?

Of course people have upgraded the cam. The 5.7 Hemi has been around for a long time. You'd have better results asking this in a 4th gen or even HD forum with a decent amount of traffic, or search the web. You shouldn't have any issues finding information on this.

I remember watching a you-tube video discussing this and having to limit the cam VVT advance and retard due to a hotter cam.

I used to install them on the 4th generations, i did a few with SRT8 valve springs and pushrods, mine had a Comp260, ported and polished and even shave the heads 0.020 on my 04, it was a blast to drive. I don't think i'll do that on this one.
