I doubt you will find any dealer to do this. Many people have done it and there are lots of threads on here about it. You can easily search for subwoofers and find a ton of info.

I removed the ANC module under the drivers seat, put in a small amp, and connected it to a sub that sits under the right rear seat. It works well. I don't like the stock stereo in the RAM but have never spent the time or money to upgrade it. I've always been tempted to put in another amp for the door speakers and an EQ to really get the most out of the stock head unit.

You trying to create a neighbor hater? My stock one sounds pretty good actually. Those that are so loud they make MY vehicle vibrate are annoying. Not to sound old but, my hearing is already bad enough from my career.

the base radio needs help but factory upgrades that come with a subwoofer are actually pretty good. that coming from a guy that has spent literally thousands replacing everything but the head unit in a truck that came with the "ALPINE system". you can get a huge improvement and make your neighbors hate you on the cheap for around 1500+ install labor if you don't have a factory upgrade.
just adding a relatively inexpensive subwoofer 500-800.

I'm one of those annoying guys that has upgraded all my audio and this is what I used to connect my amps to my radio.

PAC Amp-PRO or Sub-PRO for plug n play. It's relatively easy to do yourself, but if worried, hit a stereo shop.

I highly recommend not using a Rockford Fosgate DSR-1. I had a terrible experience with them. I went through three of them before I switch to the down4sound DSP. The new DSP was a game changer.

Also with it being a new truck my worry is warranty issues
If you do it right, there won't be any issues with warranty. Just don't go hacking up the wiring. Most of it is plug and play now.

One of the many good things that I learned from my older brother, was not to blare your upgraded car stereo around home. His point was that you don't want everybody who lives around you to know that there is expensive electronics sitting in your car, ready to be stolen. Of course, the real lesson was not to be "THAT" guy annoying your neighbors.

I don't blast music much either but I do want to hear John Paul Jones', Paul McCartney's, or James Jamerson's bass lines clearly without having to blast the volume. IMO - the real value in a good sound system is that you can clearly hear the bass without having to call attention to yourself. Then again, I don't mind if someone slightly hears the bass line from Judy In Disguise (With Glasses). 😁

Judy In Disguise (With Glasses). 😁

How in the hell are you a year younger than me and know that song????
My excuse is I had a record player and access to my parent's album collection when I was 5.

I was born in the 70s but mainly like music from that decade back to the start of the blues. Friends are always shocked when I don't know the latest songs (or songs from two decades ago) but I'm always finding new stuff to me that was created long before I was born.

I suppose that our dad was always listening to the "Oldies" station back in the day, and I have two older brothers that influenced my musical interests as well.
