Halogen headlight reflector blackout

Afternoon all, was just curious as to how yall with halogen headlights are blacking out the side amber reflector in the housing. I'm not looking to break the seal on the headlight to do it and I've tried some tint film over the outside but I didnt think it came out so good n could still see some amber looking at it from the front. Any ideas or input an can show me what you did thanks!

Mine ware black and added vinal tint.
