GPS signal issue on ‘19 12” units (star case reference)

Couple of weeks ago my nav stopped tracking satellites and has me 30 miles from wherever I am. Took to dealer today for diagnosis and confirmed the gps part of the radio failed. According to service advisor he said they know some of the ‘19s having this problem due to components used. He said the 20s and beyond have a more robust setup for the gps signal. On the service invoice they referenced star case 2008000141 that is related to this issue. FYI in case anyone has the gps signal loss issue.

Mine has started acting up also but the starting location was the same both times (it appears to be not picking up the current location ). It eventually came back and seems to work OK now. It is also a 19'. Please let us know what it takes to fix yours.
