Hi Guys,

I'm new here and recently got 2023 Rebel level 1 package.
anybody has input in this bed rack. Is this a good one for putting a tent on top of the rack?

I live in the North of Canada. Nunavut. Pretty much everything here is off road as we don't have any paved roads. Im looking to use this during the summer and go to the land and have a camping trip with my family.

Thanks!

i've dealt with their products many times before and to be honest... they feel cheap. as in china cheap and don't feel like made in US or North America at all.

i had Chassis Unlimited Thorex Rack

i think i went with the long version for the 5'7" bed. I replaced ALL the hardware to grade 8 using locking washers and loctite. Not a fan of carriage bolts that were provided. The rack itself was sturdy and stood up to the countless bumps and jumps in the desert with the tent on top. if you click into the site, scroll to the bottom, that blue truck is mine lol. I sold it to go GoFastCamper.

being in the extreme cold where you are, have you thought about going with a camper with tent incorporated?

I've had go rhino running boards on my truck for 5 years now. I ordered the ones covered in spray bed liner material. They are sturdy look nice and have not peeled faded or rusted. Great quality imo.

Thanks for the recommendation.
Looking at how much to ship that up here.

I never thought of the camper as I didn't like the look with a camper shell.
