Glovebox Latch Replacement

I got a new glove box for my 2019 5th generation Ram and it has the hole for the glovebox latch but, I cannot figure out how to get the old glovebox apart to gain access to the latch to remove it and install in the new glovebox. Can anyone help?

Not sure about the latch but to get the glovebox out you need to unclip the cable on the right then it will easily unclip on the left and drop right out. The cable clip on the box is kind of in a key hole. Dont force it just move it out of the key hole. Your cabin filter is behind there also so might as well replace that while you're at it. They clog up pretty quickly.
