Hey all,

I recently replaced my head unit with a Kenwood DMS706S. My only complaint is that I've lost my back up camera for the moment. Otherwise everything else works fine.

Is there anyway I can put a converter/processor in place to make the stock camera work or is the best solution to put an aftermarket camera on?

This is in a 2019 Ram 1500 Bighorn basic edition.

Honestly it would be easier to just add an aftermarket one and call it. :)

Are there any you might suggest? I'd like to use the OEM wiring harness if possible but I suppose running a new wire would be fine.

I suppose I'm more trying to understand why the factory camera isn't an option using a converter to convert it over to RCA.
