So i will refer to ONLY the Ram 1500 , 5.7L HEMI and I guess 10 speed transmission in this question.
Does anyone here know if the brakes get bigger with the gear ratio upgrades?
I think the 3 ratios available are 2.61, 3.55, and 3.92 on a 1500. (and I'll use approximate #'s)
So my truck with the 2.61 ratio can tow approx. 7500#
3.55 ratio can tow approx. 10,000#
and 3.92 over 10,000# so are the brake pads and rotors the same size? or do they get bigger with bigger ratios?
Does anyone know? Thx.Jack

8-speed transmission and no 2.61 axle

Brakes are same size between 3.21 and 3.92 on the 5.7L Hemi

3.55 is for the 3.6L
