Gauge cluster help please

I tried To put a cluster Out of the Laramie Into my big horn With the bigger display screen And it won't work Are these just plug and play

8.4 I think is the size its not the little one

i have a 8.4. not all larmie's have the 12in radio screen so i don't see why that would matter. i think what would matter is if it came from a Laramie 2500 because they are more of a gen 4 with a gen 5 interior and front clip but that still may not present a problem. 1500 to 1500 should not be a problem. my cluster came from a v6 and everything works fine in my 5.7. it was plug and play. are you sure the Laramie cluster don't have any problems. if it came from a wrecked truck it's possible it got damaged from the impact.

If he had the smaller 5" display in his Bighorn, it probably wouldnt vet compatible with the 7" display cluster. But he said he has the 8.4, so that's not the issue
