I recently purchased a used 2019 Ram Bighorn 1500 4x4 with the 5.7 Hemi. Gas mileage sucks. I previously had a 2014 and got around 16mpg in town and around 22mpg on the highway, not towing anything. I’m getting around 11.5-12mpg in town with the 2019. Is there anything I can do to help get better gas mileage?

Same gear ratio on both trucks? Tires, offroad or highway? How about tire air pressure? Check the air filter? Many variables to consider

Share some specs of your truck, and we might be able to give you a little better advice. In the meantime, at least make sure your tire pressure is correct. For reference, I average 14-16 around town. On a recent trip down to a Reds game and back I averaged 18, and that was driving 75-80 most of the way.
