You know how freezing a water bottle will break the plastic because the ice grows? Or how ice can heave a concrete slab?
Wouldn't that mean water levels will remain unchanged or slightly fall when the ice melts?

That is true for the Arctic Ice Cap which is floating on water. But the Antarctic Ice Cap sits atop a land mass and is not floating. If it melts, ocean levels will rise.

But, the Antarctic Ice Cap is growing. As it grows if expands and slowly pushes off the land into the ocean. Then large chunks of it break off and the evil ones start screaming that the world is ending due to global warming. As with Russian disinformation, the opposite is true.
