To be that guy at a party, looks like that ramp recently was used, so the cop is there to discourage usage until it is re-graded. There’s quit a few going down I-70 into Silverthorne so a runaway truck would just use the next one.

Or sacrifice the cop car if that was truly the safer alternative.

yup ive seen them
driving east in i90 going down slope side of the berkshires in Mass theres a no break gravel stop pit at the bottom must be 1/4 mile long slopes up hill as well..but with no cop cars blocking lol
