Fuel tank issues

Has anyone encountered the issue at the pump? Having trouble putting gas in cause the pump keeps stopping? I've already had the overflow pressure filter changed.

Is it the same station every time, and other stations don't have issues, or is it multiple stations? Some of the newer "eco friendly" or "spill proof" nozzles have issues with some vehicles, especially if you don't finesse it quite right, get the perfect angle, and talk dirty to it just right.

I had that problem on my truck for a few years until I recently replaced the gas tank. I tried replacing the filler neck and hoses for the vapor canister and the canister, but nothing helped. There were only 2 pumps in my town that would somewhat work. Then both gas stations got updated and I was left with my last option of replacing the gas tank. And that finally solved the issue.

After 50K miles the vehicle began to develop problems refueling. The gas pump would shut off after 50 cents or it would take 20 minutes to get $5 in the tank. So many posts say it is the filler neck so I went got a new Mopar filler neck but no it didn't help. Then they say ''it's the charcoal canister". I took the canister off and it weighed 1.2 pounds more than a new one and it smelled of gas. I was certain that this new one would solve the problem but still unable to introduce gas into the tank. I own a 2019 Ram 1500 Limited with 51,000 miles. Recently it developed a problem where I am unable to fill the gas tank without the pump clicking off every half gallon or less of gas going into it. I am aware of a TSB that is out for gas tank replacement because of a valve inside. My question is would this be covered under the emissions warranty or do I have to purchase a gas tank myself? I am capable of replacing it. The problem is it costs $700 or more just for the tank. If anyone has experience with this problem please let me know what fixed it for you. Thank you in advance!
