Fuel filler door issues

New to forum and to the 5th Gen RAM. Lots of trouble with the fuel filler door. Push and push and push before door will maybe pop open. Same with closing it. Any ideas on how to fix this problem? Are there aftermarket alternatives to this insidious & torturous door? I can't enjoy the full serve island anymore since I have to keep getting out to open door for gas attendant.

This sounds like it could be fixed by loosening a couple of screws and adjusting the latch striker that it locks into but I haven't looked at mine.

I had the same problem, brought to the dealer and they fixed it under warranty.
