So far I'm pretty well pleased with the fuel economy on my 2020 1500 Lone Star (5.7 eTorque, 3.21); highway mileage has consistently been around 22 mpg at 70-75. Last week I needed to drive from Austin to Dallas (about 400 miles round-trip) and was interested to see how I would fare on a highway-only trip. On the trip north the traffic was light, I kept her steady at 75 and I had a consistent tailwind of 15-20 mph). When I arrived I checked the trip computer and was shocked to see 24.9 mpg! Reality settled in on the way home--traffic slightly busier, same speed, but against a headwind. I computed 19.0 mpg on the way home, for a 390-mile round trip average of 22. I guess that's what you can expect from a vehicle with the aerodynamics of a brick...
