Hi guys....newbie here with first time post. I have a 2021 Ram Laramie Longhorn Limited with 50k miles that I just bought one month ago. Yesterday the system told me an update was available, which I did. It seemed to go through the process without any problems, but now my front parking sensors are not working. Any thought/advice? TIA

What do you mean by not working? Is the light on the lever/button on or off? Have you tried cleaning the sensors? Have you checked all the settings? A software update shouldn't have anything to do with that system. The software update is for Uconnect which doesn't control the sensors except to turn settings on or off.

What I mean by not working is there are no audible beeps nor anything showing in my cluster when I get close to something.
Exactly what I thought sir about the Uconnect not having anything to do with it…..but I dont believe in coincidences. I am new to Ram…my first one and am still learning the truck, however I do not buy the dirty sensors at all because there are multiple sensors and my truck is spotless clean. I am interested in the light/lever button you mentioned….I do not know what that is?

Well, you may not want to believe me, but I have a lot of experience with the Ram's systems. Anyway, there are physical buttons to disable the front and rear parking sensors under screen, at least on the 12". I don't exactly remember the placement on the others, but should be in the same place.

Thank you sir. I will look for those buttons.

Wanted to update you….it was the button you mentioned. I have only had the truck for 1 month and havent had a reason to fool with those buttons….which by the way appear to easily be bumped.

Thanks again for your input and help. I probably should have done a little more due diligence before asking. My mind got hung up on this happening at the same time as the Uconnect update

The forum is all about helping other members. It takes a while to find everything. Heck, my brother had a F150, before his current Ram. He drove it almost 2 years, before I had to tell him he had fog lights. He never saw that switch.
