Front-End Humming Noise at 35+ MPH

I’m seeking some advice regarding an issue with my 2024 Ram 1500 Limited. About a month ago, I started noticing a rubbing or humming noise coming from the front end of the vehicle while driving on the highway. I brought the truck to my local dealership, but they were unable to reproduce the noise.

After researching online, I conducted a test by driving the vehicle and shifting it into neutral. The noise persisted even in neutral, which seems to rule out the engine or transmission as the cause. I’ve also observed that the noise becomes noticeable at speeds of 35 MPH or higher and disappears below 35 MPH.

I came across some information about the Air Dam system deploying at 35 MPH, and I’m wondering if it could be related. The truck only has 9,000 miles on it.

Any suggestions or insights would be greatly appreciated.

Why the double post? I commented on your other post I don't understand.

Probably tire noise. Try having your tires rotated. 9000 miles and they due (overdue). I doubt it is the air dam. But you could disconnect it to see. It will cause a check engine light, but will go away once you plug it back in.

I'll second the tire issue. I bought my 21 used with 8800 miles on it. Previous owner put Kenda Klever 35s on it and I picked up a shimmy at around 35mph. I took it down to get it aligned and the tires balanced, and the tech told me they're load range F tires. The truck doesn't weigh enough for load range F, so I ran them severely underinflated (45psi vs 80psi max inflation) just so they'd pattern correctly. Now the sidewalls are cracked....fortunately they're almost due for replacement. Tech says the load range F tires shimmy on pretty much every 1/2 ton he sees them on, and they won't balance out.

I also get a rumble/growl when turning at low speeds, left or right. Switching to General X3 red labels here soon, we'll see if the problem goes away.

Thanks for the replies. If it was the tires, wouldn't the sound get louder/faster the faster you drive? I will admit, the OEM tires are atrocious. They will slip on a drop of sweat.
