Front Defrost with Remote Start?

Is there a setting to have the front defrost go on with the remote start? Without the front defroster on, I have to scrape the windshield to drive or wait another 5 minutes after turning the front defrost on.

It does come on with remote start, still takes some time for the engine to get the coolant warm and really get it melted off depending on how cold it is though.

The front defroster comes on high with remote start but as soon as you open the drivers door it lowers down to whatever setting you have it set to .

IF this does not work, you could always just move to Texas and not worry about it!!

In the morning I always remote start 10 to 15 minutes before I leave. I have not had to scrape ice from a window in years. I walk outside and drive away while my neighbors are scraping away.

Works for less than 2 inches of snow as well.
