My Ram (4,200 miles) has been at the dealership svc dept for 2 days to deal with CEL code P018B (fuel pressure sensor "B" circuit) and to get the front bumper gaps on the left and right side even. The passenger side has about a 3/8” wider gap than the driver side. Today I was notified by the svc rep that the front coil overs need to be replaced and that will straighten out the bumper. I am by no means a mechanic. In fact, other than simple mods and being able to change a tire if I have to I don’t enjoy working on cars/trucks. I don’t understand how the coil overs would cause the bumper to be out of alignment. The truck doesn’t lean and the wheel openings are the same height from the ground.Sounds like the svc dept is trying to pull a fast one. I’m going in tomorrow to have the tech show how they came to this conclusion.
